(Until the end of the earth I will follow you said the sun and the moon)
There are two people, they share the moonlight.
One watches aware, the other sleeps.
Each of them have worries, but what keeps one awake
does not bother the other.
The alienation of each is no barrier to their love.
Neither owns the other.
Between them they build walls which make a palace,
ascending stairs wind inside bringing them together.
Just as the queen wakes, the king takes his rest
and memories of times gone stroll upwards,
the tyranny of life leaves a mark.
But their timid hearts lean towards each other
If only as far as the comforting stones,
where lies understanding and knowing.
For even when the sun rests the heat of summer
still surrounds them.
And the moonlight climbs following every stone until the dawn.
